Equipment Progression

Elethor gear is not a smooth scale of progression, where one item you find might be 1% better than the last item, ad infinitum. Instead, gear progression is based around a set of tiers, each with increasing room for upgrades, as well as better base stats to work with.

Once you get a piece of gear, that is only the beginning. There are various ways to upgrade each piece of equipment to tailor it to your use case, as well as maximize stats.

Equipment Tiers

Each increasing tier of gear costs more to reinforce, both in gold as well as item requirements. For each tier, the weapon has +1 possible reinforcement than the armor. There are also items in between tiers. For example Augments are typically used for more than one tier and have different reinforcements available.

Tier 0

This is Rat equipment. You can craft it without any skill requirements, doesn't require many resources, but also is barely upgradeable. This is the necessary first step to find in order to move to higher mobs.

Tier 1

Skrivet equipment. The first set of equipment that can really be upgraded. It is worthwhile getting a good base and taking time to push this tier to reach the next one.

Tier 2

This is Razen equipment as well as Gishin augments. A big boost in base stats means it's more worthwhile pushing this set of gear further with good reinforcements.

T2 also gets access to +1 <stat> per 10 level energizements on all equips.

Tier 3

This is Karth equipment. This is the last tier of gear before Abyss content, which includes dungeons.

T3 also gets access to +2 <stat> per 10 level energizements on all equips.
